adjusting play in steering
72 Blazer has some slack or wander when going down road. Tried adjusting steering box but didn't help.

Re: adjusting play in steering
How does the rag joint on the steering shaft look?

Re: adjusting play in steering
Nothing loose on tie rod ends. When it drifts to one side if you try to correct very much it drifts to the other side. Have to constantly move steering wheel back and forth lightly.

Re: adjusting play in steering
Post #4 suggests the toe is off, but you need to get someone to rock the wheel back and forth while you look at what moves in the steering system and when.
