14 bolt
Does anybody know if a 14 bolt can be mounted on C10 control arms or is the diameter of the axle tubes too big to fit the u-bolt spacing?

Re: 14 bolt
The axle tubes need a slight notch made for U-bolt clearance. This is not an issue as the 14 bolt axle tubes are 3/8" thick. Let me know if you need a set of the 14 bolt trailing arm mounts that I make.

Re: 14 bolt
I'm still tossing the idea around. I have everything to put disc brake 3/4 front suspension on it, it already has five lug power discs on it. I'd like to put the 3/4 stuff under it and get an Avion or Alaskan slide in. If I do I'll be ordering your mounts.

Re: 14 bolt
I don't wanna hijack, but while we are on the subject:
Do you guys know what the dimensional differences of the U-bolts are for a 1/2 ton vs 3/4 ton? Vendors like Classicparts list two different U-bolts, and I'm curious what the difference is since the trailing arm holes seem to be spaced the same on C10s and C20s. |

Re: 14 bolt
I wonder if they're a different diameter?

Re: 14 bolt
The u-bolt hole spacing in the trailing arms are the same whether for a C10 or a C20. And the u-bolts are the same diameter which is 3/4".

Re: 14 bolt
Thanks for confirming, Captain. The only logical difference left would be length.
