ls swap problems

swapped a 6.0/6l90 into my 71 suburban and it was trouble free for a few months of driving last year. I installed a AAW chassis wiring kit and now the gas pedal keeps dying. Thought the first pedal was just bad so I got one from PSI conversions who made the swap harness. Same thing, made it half a mile and it died. Any input on what to check?

a little more investigating and it seams ECU is tossing a PO606 code which is disabling pedal, clear the code and pedal works fine. Ill be calling tuner tomorrow to see if he can take a look

Re: ls swap problems

Check wire between pedal before you go to the tuner. Ohm it end to end and check for shorts

Re: ls swap problems

double check all of your grounds also, you said everything was working find until you swapped the body harness, id start there. loose grounds are notorious for being a big issue on GM trucks and cars

Re: ls swap problems

Back in business, after some trouble shooting we loaded Corvette maps in and it runs great. No idea how it ran for the past few months without issue but I'll take it
