2007 TBSS E67 TCC Wiring
I have read some conflicting information on Gen IV TCC wiring and have a question about my specific situation.
Engine and transmission are from a 2007 TBSS with E67 ECM. I have included a picture of the ECM pinout as well as part of the wiring diagram I have been looking at. The ECM pinout shows "TCC Brake Switch/Cruise Control Release Signal" on C1 Pin 2 Purple wire The wiring diagram shows C1 Pin 2 as "TCC Brake SW" going to "Anti-Lock Brake System" I believe the CHMSL Supply voltage on C1 Pin 7 is used to disengage the cruise control I have yet to start the truck, but I currently have C1 Pin 2 (TCC Brake SW) to hot with brakes off and C1 Pin 7 to hot with brakes on (CHMST Supply Voltage). Having the TCC switch wired to hot while brakes are off seems opposite from some of the info I have read on Gen IV computers. Any input would be appreciated. |

Re: 2007 TBSS E67 TCC Wiring
C1 pin 2 is only for ABS/traction control and cruise control, you don't need it in a swap. You only need C1 pin 7 which is hot with brakes applied.

Re: 2007 TBSS E67 TCC Wiring
Thanks Nova.
I am attempting to utilize the cruise control function with this setup. As you stated, and some additional searching revealed, C1 Pin 2 is utilized by the ECM for cruise to function. I will leave the wiring as is for now and report on function once I have the truck running. Thanks, John |
