Door Decal with VIN

I had this label reproduced as I could not save the original during my build. Would someone post a picture of it's proper location on the door. I took pictures of the original label on my door, but they were closeups and don't reference the labels correct positioning. Thanks!

By the way, the new label was created by "jeffoutintheshop" and it turned out great.

.Hey Tim. Nice repo....don't know if this is year specific, my label 1 1/2 "x 3 3/4 "seems to be over another...2" x 4"....same location. Truck is 71....8 3/4" from top of latch to top of label.

There probally is not an exact placement,on the assembly line it would have been placed in a general area between the latch and the plug, I used to inspect cars on the line and had to put a union decal on the door and was told it had to be in a general are,but not measured specific.

Were those sticker/emblems constant for all years 67-72 and both GMC and Chevy?

I believe they were only 1971 and 1972' my 1970 is my uncles truck,I remeber when he picked up from the dealer,cause my mother dropped us of to get it, and learning to drive in it,and having to wash it every Saturday,there was no sticker on the door, on My 1971 and 72 there are stickers.

My 70 has that sticker. Now I know where to get a new one.
