Origin fuel tank and line routing

I got a little problem.
I drive an 72 c10 with the origin fuel tank behind the seats.
The connection for the fuel pump is a bung on the bottom of the tank in the middle. The return line is connect to sending unit. The eec outlets at the neck connect to each other.

And when the fuel is less a quater then i have problems with the fuel pressure. When i drive around corners or step to the metal i have a large loss of power.

I drive it as a daily and it would be cool if i had the reach of the whole tank.

That’s what happens with no baffling, what if you had a small baffled tank after your original tank, after a corner or acceleration it would refill ???

That could help. Maybe there is an easier solution, like a second bung in the Tank with an little reservoir between tank and pump or something.
I have no space for an Tank under the body, what most of the guys prefer when they do an swap.

Yeah I wasn’t thinking of a big tank more like you said a reservoir a quart would work

Aaah i got it. A catch Tank. I found some with 1 or 2 Liters and a few connectors.
With a second pump for the little tank and rerouting the fuel lines it must work.

Depending on where you mounted it I wouldn’t think a second pump would be necessary as long as it was gravity fed it would need a vent though

Maybe the space on the right side to the origin Tank would be good. There should be enough space for something like this


The return line and feeding line on the two connectors on the side. The top connector to the big Tank and the bottom connector to the fuel pump for the rail.

I think gravity wouldn’t work well in this case.
