Engine swap
I have a 1979 K30 Camper Special with a Sm block 400 .
I also have a 1976 C20 Suburban with a 454 . I would like to install the 454 in the K30 . What parts will I need and what problems should I expect ? Is there a kit or something? Thank you in advance for any help. |

i may be way off here but you may have to swap trannys with it cause i think chevy and gmc have different designs at the top most part of the bellhousing/engine block thetop two bolts wont line up and the motor trans wont mate right i may be way off but i recall something about that with blazer/jimmys

everything will bolt up just fine. make sure that you use all the brackets from the 454, as the brackets are different from small block to big block
