Help on part identification

While I had my entire dash apart installing my new AM-FM Radio, defroster vents and attempting to fix my tach I replaced my 3 spd fan switch since I believed it was defective. The 3rd spd didn't seem to click into place and when it did click into place, sometimes the fan would be in 3rd speed and sometimes it would not work for a little while. Well, replacing with a NOS 3spd switch did not make any difference so the switch was not the problem. However, when I was testing the new switch I could hear a definite delayed click sound from what appears to be some sort of relay that is on the passenger side attached to the blower motor box. Does anyone know the part # shown in the picture below (the picture is taken from passenger side thru the glovebox downward towards the floor)? I suspect this relay is the problem and want to swap it out.

Re: Help on part identification

That’s your hi-speed relay. Make sure it is grounded well, often times that is the problem.
