Seat install - How do these springs go?
Not sure where that small spring goes? Across the long spring? Or across the connecting rod?

Re: Seat install - How do these springs go?
if you're referring to either one of these, those are for jack and tire tools..
when I reinstalled my 65 seat, I installed both brackets and the connecting rod on the seat, then set it in the truck and bolted it down.. good luck!

Ok, those are for securing the jack.

Correct.
Although there is a spring for the seat. You'll see a hole in the seat bracket you show that one end goes through. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...80&postcount=3
