Hi From Nova Scotia
Hi folks,Greg here in beautiful, downtown Joggins,Nova Scotia.I've been on a hunt for a C-20,preferrable a 71 or 72 and a big block.i have had 4 over the years but too stoopid to hang onto one.i did just buy another in Utah but with the covid mess and the border between Canada and the US being closed to everything but essential business,it'll have to stay in Utah til spring, summer or whenever things brighten up out there.i may have it hauled to friends in Ohio so it's a bit closer to home, but we'll see.i've just built a new 64x32 shop and have a restored, numbers matching 1967 impala wagon that i've had for 21 years, bought in Blueridge,Ga. from the original owner,a 1939 Chrysler sedan street rod project going together now,an old original paint Dodge truck and a new Mustang GT convertible so there's always something to do til we go after the new truck, but i am anxious to get it here and get started.there's lots of info to be had here and some beautiful trucks.thanks

Re: Hi From Nova Scotia
thanks a million,i appreciate that.i was an hour or so from you a year ago when i bought a 1956 Desoto hemi motor in Lutz,Florida for a project that's in my head for someday down the road.the guy i bought the motor from didn't want to ship it so we jumped on a plane, headed to Largo,Florida and visited friends for a couple of days, bought a truck, some trailer axles, went and picked up the motor and drove home.i sold the truck to a friend, built a car trailer to help us move to our new home and then haul lumber for my new shop.i've had a bunch of these 67-72 trucks but not smart enough to hang onto one.i've had 4 C-20 trucks and they're my favourite so i bought another,a 1 owner big block 72 c-20 cheyenne super,California truck with 74,000 miles, original paint truck that's in Utah and was in storage since 1997.i don't have any pictures yet and with the covid mess, can't go get it.the border between Canada and the States is closed to non-essential travel.i'm hoping things turn around maybe by summer so we can go get the truck.if things don't get better,i may have to look at getting the truck hauled to friends in Ohio or somewhere closer so that when i can go get it,it's not so far away.i am anxious to get the truck here but i have lots to do,so no worries,it'll all work out.i had a look at your truck, she's a beauty.take care.

Re: Hi From Nova Scotia
Thanks Steve.i appreciate the welcome and words about me new shop.i did stumble on a thread here for garages and such and put some pictures on,of this place going together from the first scoop of dirt til now.we're pretty lucky to be here.this was a little old coal mining town that dried up 40 or 50 years ago when coal wasn't the big deal it once was.alot of folks moved away so there's not much here but we're on 8 acres, right on the Atlantic ocean,a B&B downstairs.my dad was born right across the dirt road.a special place to us at least.i'm anxious to get my truck home from Utah, once it's here or even on the way if i drive it home, there will be some more pictures of that.take care.thanks again.Greg
