Smile New in pa

Hey all,

Picked up a new project I picked up a few weeks ago. I've always liked these trucks, but the four headlight gmc's are my favorite. This ones got factory tach and all the good stuff inside. Seems the more I look into it the more I'm afraid to do anything. So much looks more and more original. I found the original service records and sleeve from the dealer in Virginia the original owner bought it from!

I'd like to toss an ls and a 5 speed into it, I've been reading a bunch of other builds in here. I'll be doing plenty of reading.

Thats what makes me keep hesitating! The more I look, the nicer it is! Even under the hood looks pretty well as it came. Still has factory the engine lift points bolted on, 8 track player. And a/c, not that I care much for that lol

It may have a gm reman engine, (guessing from the valve covers) I have to get the numbers off the block.

Its a little hard to tell form the pictures, but there is a little bit of work needing done over the wheel arches in the rear, and a drivers rocker. Hoping for it not to be too bad.
