Manual Floor Shifters
Have a question for ya. WHICH manual floor shifter (3spd) do yall recommend? Ive looked @ JEGS and see 2 Hurst shifters...the INDY style for trucks, and the MASTERSHIFT....both have kits for our trucks. Im curious which might be better. Right now, in my '82 Chev, I have the INDY type...but notice alot of slop/play in it.
Thanks yall SEASON's GREETINGS to all of you!!! Billy G

I have the indy shift in my 70...very nice. If your's is sloppy, you might want to check the bolts that hold the shifter to the linkge. Mine worked loose after 6-7 months. I put some locktite on the threads and a lock nut to hold it tight. Acts real good now. When I bought mine, the only one I saw for our trucks was the indy,so I can't advise you on the other one.
