Aftermarket Oil Pressure Gauge Install ?

I would like to run a oil pressure gauge off the idiot light sender on my 71 C/20. It came with the base instrument cluster. I have the gauge. It has the flexible plastic pipe but I need the proper fitting to connect to the block. Suggestion on hookup ? Take sender to parts house ?

Re: Aftermarket Oil Pressure Gauge Install ?

Your easiest bet is to go to an auto parts store and get the cheapest oil pressure gauge you can find. It should have the fittings you need. I also recommend getting the copper pressure line for the gauge. The plastic one an wear over time with age or just rubbing and break. It makes a huge mess.
