Is this bulb for the HVAC
Hey guys I found a bulb dangling behind the stereo after I installed it. It's not the courtesy light as that's a bigger bulb. This bulb only comes on when the headlights are on.
Are the heater controls supposed to be lit up? Its a 78 Thanks

Yes there's a bulb that plugs into the heater control assy. That's probably the one you have hanging. Should be a hole in the control that the bulb holder pops into. These squares are not fun to get under the dash and mess with especially if you have factory air.

Re: Is this bulb for the HVAC
My 75 climate control panel lights up. 2nd the thought that on an assembled dash that bulb is a PITA to get at. Might consider an LED before you go exploring. The stock bulb isn't very bright.

Thanks for the responses guys I’m gonna crawl under the dash and see if I can locate the hole. Yes I would put a blue led in there to match the gauge cluster I recently converted to led.
Excited to have this match the other lights if I can get at it. Thanks again fellas Posted via Mobile Device |
