Were they Blazers?
In 1969, they made a Chevy and GMC K5. Was the GMC officially called a Jimmy until '73, cuz I personally have never seen that emblem on an original truck... Dinnut and I are kinda amiss on this one.

i say they made the gmc jimmy in 69-72 because they sell the fender emblems and gee_emm and other board members have jimmys...
http://www.ebroadcast.com.au/ecars/GM/Jimmy/Jimmy.html that is an all original jimmy... yet he beleives they were called blazers.

notice how gmc trucks are refered to by many parts catalogs as c15 or c25 rather than the c10 and c20

Blazer- '69-'72
Jimmy- '70-'72 The Jimmy's had a fender emblem like other GMC trucks, but they said "Jimmy" in the box under the GMC letters, instead of "2500 V-Eight" or "1500 Custom," or whatever it may say in there. I have also noticed that the GMC's are lettered differently. A Chevrolet 3/4 ton 4x4 is a K/20, and a GMC is a K/2500. I guess GMC was just ahead of their time.
