73 Jimmy, mostly
I bought this thing for $800 20 years ago and rebuilt it out of about a dozen old farm trucks. virtually nothing is original except the frame, tub and transmission. Literally every other part has been swapped. But it does have a title and is a 73' Jimmy.
It had some rust holes, now it has some pieces chopped out of the body. I cut all the rust out after I bought it and never bothered to patch the holes. It hasn't gotten any worse. It has 4.10 gears and 3/4 ton axles. 4 speed with 205. 350 goodwrench 350 crate motor been in there for about 10 years. still runs good 2" body lift, has a Meyer plow, but I would remove that before I sold it. Most notably it nolonger has the original top and I cut up a pickup to build it into a hillbilly half-cab. I need less vehicles. this lands squarely between desirable and hopeless What do you think? what could I get without the plow? Here's a link with a few pics: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...p?albumid=2578

Re: 73 Jimmy, mostly
OK, I'll start. Is it worth 5?
5k for a k5 4500? I recently got that much for a long box K10 that needed body work. Am I in the ballpark?

Re: 73 Jimmy, mostly
I would think at least that much. Non running junk goes for more than that now.
