Re: big back window
So many people have done this that the aftermarket has reproduced the inner panel that is needed for the swap. Then just trim the original outer panel to fit the bigger opening

Re: big back window
Did mine before the aftermarket supported the swap. It's weird how the change impacts the feel in the cab.

Re: big back window
Do you find that you like the big window better? I know some people that wished they had kept the small window. My 64 has the big window and I wish it had the small one. Crazy as it sounds. I just think the small window better suits these trucks. But it is all in what a person likes.

My 1st truck was a small window '64. I didn't even know about the big or small option back then (non-gearhead family in the early 80's). Once I learned that the big window was available & saw a couple in person, I just liked them better. When I got my current '64 in ~2011, It was the small window cab but the price was right. Once in my possession, my plan was to update/change from the get-go as long as I could do it w/o disturbing the patina. Once done, I loved it.

Re: big back window
I have always felt that stepsides look better with small windows and fleetsides look better with a big back window.

Re: big back window
With all of that being said, if I had a 64-66 fleet side I would really like it to be a big back window.
