Re: Single Wall dome plug pics
To clarify, isn't that the female end? The male end from the harness inserts into connector in the photo.

Re: Single Wall dome plug pics
Good point. Here's a link to an OE example. The top-ward end of these was matching red. https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=787561

Re: Single Wall dome plug pics
As usual, most of the repros are close, but not exact. Don't know why it would be difficult to mold the top end connector in the proper red. The rest of the harness looks great..

Re: Single Wall dome plug pics
I don’t know about overspray but the exposed rubber ends are matching red rubber and the segment of the harness that emerges from the bedside was bundled with red colored shrink wrap of sorts.

Re: Single Wall dome plug pics
Looked at it again. Still looks like overspray on the connector to me. Plug not connected on a re-spray IMO. Doubt red shrink wrap was used by OEM. Would guess the picture is from a 50+ year old truck that has been worked on.

Re: Single Wall dome plug pics
Do you have an example OEM harness that you can post photos of that depicts overspray?

Re: Single Wall dome plug pics
Had 2 original harness with the red colored molded rubber ends. Not sure why it would be considered overspray?
