Chevy K5 Blazer - Ringbrothers Raskal

They call it what it is, a restomod. Like it, hate it, find inspiration from it, whatever the case, nice to see the envelope pushed from time to time in the vintage auto industry. Enjoying the factory inspired 18 inch wheels.

Not a fan of the roof and tailgate lettering.
I do like how the doors & top of bedsides are flush though.

Man the dash/interior is gorgeous! Don't love the off the shelf Pep Boys side steps though.

Overall I actually like it, and I usually detest modified 1969-72 Blazers. Some details of this build are brilliant, others are tawdry.

Not my cup of tea. I equate it to putting a 72 front clip on a newer vehicle.

Re: Chevy K5 Blazer - Ringbrothers Raskal

Saw it in person at Sema 2019 at it unveiling. Fit and finish was quite nice some of the mods are not for me. Talk to one of the brothers and he knew no history about blazers they built it for a customer. After looking at it for 20 min it's was done nicely but I'm not a fan. Took to much of my beloved classic blazer away.
