LOW76SWB:
I live about 20 miles from these guys..... Placed a call on your behalf to get some information on the headers. He said these will fit from 1955 on up. Only negative he had was that the chrome won't last long. He suggested going for the ceramic more so.......... Hope this help you decide.....I had full headers and didn't like them.

I believe that the collectors will be right on top of the frame. Atleast thats how it is on 88-98's. Get some real headers, those arent much better than ramhorns. Chevelle full lengths will tuck quite nicely on really low trucks.

hedman also has a set of shorties for the same year cars. they are the elite model headers and they are shortie also. they have 14 gauge tubing and a 3/8" flange. the tube diameter on them are also 1 5/8" compared to the dynomax's 1 1/2" tubes.
the collectors are also 3" compared to 2.5" i havent heard of anyone using them on out trucks, BUT they are listed as working with 71-91 fullsize trucks. jegs part number 500-68608 they are a little more money at $259 though, compared to i think the $229 of the dynomax headers. i'm gonna be giving the hedman headers a try with my new engine so i'll make sure to tell everyone how they fit |
