72 GMC Hood Latch Support
Ok, I have 3 of these and none fit correctly. The middle one is close, but needs some modification to give a clean(er) fit. Is there another one I don't know about (I learned about these three today)? Am I looking for a hen's tooth, or where can I find the right one?

The one on right looks like the one on my 72 GMC. 99% sure it is original.

That's the one that was on the truck, but the grille hits it and won't bolt up on both sides. Can you take a picture of how your grille fits with that support?

so, the steak for dinner must have done some good, b/c I just went back out there and all is right with the world and it fits now with the bracket you identified. Thanks for the assist!
