Best dash pads/visors
Hello; I'm switching my interior to Saddle and looking for a vendor who sells med/dark saddle metal backed dash pads and matching visors.

Re: Best dash pads/visors
If you want the best factory dash pad then have an original restored by Just Dashes is the way to go. But remember to bring your big check book!

Re: Best dash pads/visors
Dashes Direct from Summit Racing is a nice dash pad.
I got a dash pad from eBay before I read about the Dashes Direct dash pad on here and even though they cost about the same, $60, the Dashes Direct is far nicer. |

Re: Best dash pads/visors
To get a Saddle Dash Pad, I stripped the brittle grey/fawn vinyl off my original one, til it was down to foam, then laid out a strip of the same naugahyde vinyl I was having my seat reupholstered in, and wrapped it. I used 3M 77 contact spray adhesive on both surfaces, with a spray bottle of water to slow down the process. I'd spray, stretch and skin it on. It's gathered at the back, where it's bolted to the steel dash.
On the ends, I had to tuck and rivet the end, but you don't see it. That was in the Eighties, so no pix. It came out good, but I wouldn't do it again.
