My Gauge doesnt seem to be working. I was wondering if it is supposed to have wires connected to the rear of it or if it runs off the circuits on the back of the gauge cluster? Any ideas?

It runs off the circuit panel. No wires hooked to it.
Does it move at all? How's the circuit panel?Might be shot. ------------------

The circuit panel is fine. No it doesn't move at all. It stays in the middle even when the key is off. Could it just be the gauge?

Did the truck came factory with the gauge dash.
Have you checked the 2 inline fuses under the hood? ------------------

the truck came with the gauges, but I have not checked the fuses under the hood. I honestly have no idea where they are. I am fairly new to the older Chevy trucks. Ask me a Porsche, or Motorcycle question, and I will have the answer, but I am almost clueless on these trucks. If not for my knowledge of V8's I would really be lost.

I had the same problem. The fuses are near the radiator support on each side of the engine compartment. They're in small round fuse holders.

I didn't know that! I fugured my gauges were junk, all that worked is the gas gauge and the speedometer. The tach hasn't worked since I bought it, my alt gauge is the same way, right in the middle all the time, and the temp gauge worked, but i put gauges for temp and volts under dash. Where exactly are these fuses? Will check mine tonite!
