C30 frame swap

I’ve been seeing a few people on social media and YouTube talking about using a cat eye Silverado HD for frame swaps on square bodies? I’ve never known a multigenerational difference frame swap to go smoothly, so I figured this would be the place to ask if it’s as casual of a swap people are making it out to be?

I’ve already parted out a few early HD trucks that were wrecked but now if I can find a straight frame 3500HD dually, I’d love to put a square body on it.

Let me know if any build links you know of so I can figure out what I need to keep vs sell on my next part out.
