Polyurethane mounts for BB? BB in L6 holes?
I am fitting a 502 in place of a 350. At present the 350 is on the original L6 mounts. I like the engine set back. I have a set of original 67-71 big block mounts. They look like they would fit in the L6 position (rear holes). Will this work? Can I get polyurethane mounts to replace the rubber? Can I use the L6 mounts? Will I have any other problems? I don't mind 'adjusting' the cab to fit the engine.

c'mon guys, ttt. Figured can't use original BB mounts. Any suggestions? Will stock 6 mounts cope with 500 horsepower?

Thanks French, now I need to figure if the ordinary mounts will cope. Can I fit big block pads on I6 mounts? The big block type look stronger as they have a pad on the underneath as well. Also thought about drilling sideways through the stands and fitting later type poly mounts.
