Brake Booster Install
I was looking at my holley 80457 and I noticed that I only have 1 3/8 and that is being used for the pcv. I do have another 3/8 behind the carb. Could I do a t off of that for the booster?
Thanks |

do not tie the PCV VALVE together with the booster....
do you not have a fitting on the intake in the rear of the carb.??? the booster should be all by it's self....for safety...... the stock carb. had a threaded fitting in the rear of the Q-JET (carb.) for the booster to go into.... |

The pcv is going to the carb. Behind the carb on the rear of the intake there is a tranny cooler line plugged into that 3/8s plug. Could I run the pvc and the tranny cooler line together?

Run the booster and tranny off of the fitting on the intake behind the carb.
And, it's the tranny modulator, not cooler

Most holleys wont have bowl clearence with that hole in the intake edelbrock makes a slender 90 degree elbow just for this if your using a 4160 you might not need it but with a double pump it wont really clear that vaccum hole.. at least not on mine.
