anyone have any info on installing rearcoilover shocks for drag racing a 70 chevy pu an possibly ladder bars hooking problem .thanks

I'm not running a 4-link just the stock trailing arms with this kit Classic Performance Products Coil Over Kit.
I have noticed considerable differences in how it rides and handles over the stock setup and it also hooks better.

Sorry you will also need an adjustable panhard bar.

I have HAL/AVO whatever their current name is coilovers on my truck and they work great. I fabbed the bars and bracketry myself and love the way they work at the track. The part most people screw up is the spring selection. The absolute proper way to select the springs is to take the extended and collapsed length of the shock and find the middle of this travel. You need a spring that has the shock riding at that midway point when it is just sitting at ride height. The shock is adjustable and controls the movement. The promastar coilovers are really the best for our suspension type and drag racing.

We have been running the HAL's with 140# with good luck.
