Need to find Pitman Arm-77Blazer 4WD

I am trying to locate a pitman arm for my truck and the only kind I have found is with the balljoint end. I need one with a tapered end to recieve the balljoint from the connecting rod.(Hope I said that right.)..all I know is mine has two holes...one for the streering gear box and the other end to recieve the connecting rod, which is joined to another tie rod end and then to the control arm. Any suggestions? Thanks .....I am just starting the re-birth of my long owned...hardly driven ....mind boggling...77' Blazer. I like to call her "the Heavy Chevy".

The one with the built in TRE is for a 2wd and should not be able to bolt onto the box. If it bolts onto the box then you have the wrong box on the truck. Peopl swap 2wd boxes on to do cross over conversions.

That arm should be very common in Junk yards.

I have a spare 4x4 box in the mess that was once a garge. I just don't remeber if it had a arm on it....and finding it might be the bigger problem.

That sounds bad,.....I have an idea where it is the problem is getting to it. It should be under the front of my 70 Pontiac. Problem is there is the inside of a AIrstream camper on and becide that car that's in the way LOL.

Thanks Grim-Reaper, My Blazer is 4WD and the pitman arm on it is the one with the two holes, no TRE. Am I correct in thinking then that my steering gear box and pitman arm are for 4WD? I have had the truck since 1983 and no conversion was ever done...especially since it sat parked 10 years straight ...up 3 yrs and then down for almost 6 yrs. * I don't give up! It's history is unbelievable!) When it was on the road, it was a rough n' tough Chevy....Always pulling OTHER trucks from rivers and snow! YEP ..snow even in good ol' Arizona. Back to the arm...can only bring up arms for the 2WD Blazer..would it be called something else...or don't online places recognize a 4WD Full size Blazer DUHHHH! LOL

Truck would be the same as Blazer for that part. The reason that your not able to pull it up on most places is it's not a wear item. They don't break.
