Need pics to make a guess. Also, if the bed is shot it does not have 72,000 miles. Something I laugh at with these truck is what people delude themselves into believing about their trucks. I looked at one recently with 90,000 miles supposedly on it. The brake pedal was worn off, along with a portion of the pedal and part of the floorboard. Wheel wells rusted out. Front end sand pitted. Sloppy wheel bearings. Loads of play in the rear axle. Bed dented and scratched badly. If I compare this to my '94 silverado with 250,000 miles, my Silverado is in far better shape, with less wear on these parts. It takes miles to wear these things out. Bodies do not rust sitting in the garage. Pedals don't wear out in 75,000 miles, nor do floorboards wear through in that many miles. Granted, any of these things could happen in few miles by getting into a sand storm, getting buried in mud, always having rocks on your shoes, what have you, but to have a combination of these things spells miles. Just because the odometers do not read in the 100k plus miles does not mean that the trucks were not driven. Look at for sale ads for newer trucks and you will see very few that have not been driven 15k miles per year, or more.
Sorry for my rant, and I am not saying that yours is not a rare truck that was parked for 15-20 years and never driven. It is just not likely. Please do post some pics though.

Mine has minimal rust and had a fresh engine, tranny and interior. Paid $5000 for it. Put about $600 in brakes and wheel bearings.

Walker...in the rust belt, you can have a truck with 60,000 miles and it'd be a total rust bucket. If a vehicle is not taken care of, it rots off the frame it is on up here.

Is that the truck for sale? Is it in Salem? I am going to Salem this weekend and would like to see that truck if it is the one for sale.

I agree with Longhornman, Even in Kansas, a 60000-75000 mile truck will have rust. It seems that trucks with that few of miles were purchased as a "extra" car or truck, and most likely lived its whole life outside. And was probably not taken care of very well. think about how much we drive our trucks a year and their 35 years old

NOPE!
That one's only for sale at the right price. That's mine. Thought I would just post a pic of mine to show quality for the price. I don't think I could let mine go unless someone offered an insane amount.
