what year did full 'vert tops end?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I tried to look at former posts....

what was the last year that Blazers had full convertible tops? I guessing it was around '74-75.

Was there a year that they made both full convertibles and bed-only convertible tops?

Did the Jimmy's coincide year-by-year with the Blazers on this top issue?

Finally, is there a cure for leaks(other than a new seal every week)? Were the 69-73 tops worse, better or the same with leak issues?

1976 was the first year with the 3/4 convertible top. I believe the Jimmy and the Blazer were the same.

Having never owned a '73 up blazer, I can't tell you how the seal compares to the 69-72 model. I'm guessing, as long as you don't remove them all the time, that any of them will be reasonable with new gaskets.

'75 was indeed the last year for a full convertible top. They really did not leak too bad at all. I usually left my top off during the summer on my 75, but it was fine during the winter.

Never had any leak problems on my 75 at the header. Now around the doors....OHHh yeah LOL. No water just air.

You don't even want to know how much it would cost to replace the header and window seals.
