Has anyone done a swap like this?
I am wondering if anyone has done a tranny swap to a 700R but has a staight 6 engine.

The only real for seable issue I see is possible TV Cable issues. Other than that I see no real issue. The 700R4 TV cable is a pain with aftermarket carb or FI setups. I haven't seen a straight 6 in quite some time, there may have been some that came with them and OD, not really sure. JMO

check early to mid 80's vans they had them in that combo. then you would have the correct bracketry for the tv cable.

Teh work vans will be more likely to have an inline than a conversion van. This is also a great place to find an HEI set up for your inline.
