!! nice! When ya going to chop my roof??...lol Hey on your windshield posts and the front of the door post did you have to angle those a little bit? If so how much approx.?? Is that why you are using 1 piece side windows because the vent ones will not fit anymore??? thanks. PS did ya still need those shifter rods??

when i dropped the roof the front posts were about 1/2" off so i made relief cuts and brought them out. the real work was on the back of cab where rear glass is (a pillar?) it wasnt easy to say the least ! i could have used the vent windows again id have to shorten them but i like the look of single glass better.. its an automatic now so no thanks on the shifter rods

thanks man for the compliments! wild is what im after it doesnt have drop spindles on it just bags, with the bags layed it has about 1 1/2" before the front crossmember bottoms out so drop spindles are out of the question because i still want it to roll when the bags are down.. the place with the lexan windsheild is proglass preformed lexan they have one for 425.00 3/16 thick the glass one i got now cost 429.00 installed through a local glass shop, so like i said if they break it itll only happen once! heres there link they make lexan for pretty much anything, i had to email them to price mine..

I like the way you think, NICE job,
I always wondered how do you get the rear corner to line up after you cut it down due to being "V" shaped? keeping the door jamb and rear window seems to be a delimma you got worked. |
