Hey guys,

I have inherited a 1984 GMC S-15 Sierra (2.8) from my grandfather and am in the process of getting it ready for a repaint. Unfortunately, the tailgate has a crease in it....and it scrubbed one of the red (w/white borders) "GMC" decals. I can repair the crease...but will need new letters to complete. I need to find out where I can buy them. Anyone know?

Have you tried your local GM dealer? How about E-bay?

I do not think there are S10 restoration catalogs out there yet, but you could search in case I am wrong.

If all those come up empty, try a local body shop and see what they know, maybe they know of a place that we don't.

search on ebay -motors-parts & acc. some guy has a store u can buy letters all the time different styles, he also has auctions listed most of the time. good luck jw

Have you tried ChevyDuty? On page 71 of their catalog they list tailgate stick on emblems. Go to www.chevyduty.com for their online catalog.

LMC has an S-10 Catalog. Can't find mine at the moment to see if they have that decal or not.

I think I may have found then in the 'tailgate' section of the Chevy Duty catalog. No pictures....but at $7.95 it's worth a shot.

Anyone else?

This is going to be my 'work truck' so I want to finish it up quickly...so I can get back on my '71 C-10 Custom Deluxe shortbed (in avatar).
