There is a nice looking Jimmy listed on collectorcartraderonline.com. It is on Whidbey Island (just west of Seattle). $13,950

I saw the guy adding the lift the summer before last. I could take a look at it for you if you are interested.)

Nice rigs! Hey Bouncy, do you get a commission on these? You must know where just about all the nice Blazer/Jimmy rigs are. Wish I'd known before I got mine.

TeamHarvey, that is a nice looking Blazer. Opening bid was $10K and the reserve hasn't been met. I wonder what it will go for?

My buddy is going to call you tonight or tommorrow to set something up with you. Jeff (red71cheyenne) was nice enough to take pictures of this one in Tacoma for me. He said that it was pretty nice, but the dealer is asking $19,800 for it. That seems like a lot. After my buddy takes a look at yours I will have alot better idea of which way I am going to go. I think I have pretty much narrowed it down to yours or the one below. thanks for the info this evening.

Bouncy, I was thinking between 10 and 15K would be about all I would go. Its real nice for an unrestored original and has very little rust and that only surface in places. New crate motor is nice and so are the tires and wheels, but really, I would only have offered about 11 if I had the money. You can't read it, but it was originally an ochre truck and does not have a/c or tilt. I think Bill can do much better for the money. Jeff.

Here is one in Washington. Looks like there are some pretty big puddles under it, but those may be from something else. I am not sure if I like some of the interior touches but those are easy fixes if you don't like them.

I finally made my mind up on a Blazer ! I want to thank you guys for the posts, pics, and suggestions. I also want to thank Jeff (red71cheyenne) for driving to Tacoma and looking at the turquiose & White blazer for me. Now for the big purchase! After I sold my '58 I went a little crazy and bought 4 quads and a trailer for my family! Therefore, I reduced my 20K to around 10K to 12K. Well I found this one on the board here and got it for 9K. Cory (PO) was awesome and now I just have to go get it. I've paid for it but haven't even seen it in person yet! My buddy in L.A. went and looked at it and said it was in pretty good condition and he went today to pay Cory and pick it up. Now I have to go down and drive it home this weekend (750 Miles)..... damn am I nuts or what.... my buddy said that I need to bring a kidney belt because of the 6" lift. Well I hogged the post enough...... if you guys see a yellow 71 Blazer on the side of I-5 this weekend..... it's me!

Congrats! I think you found the best you could for the money. These are getting real rare to find in that kind of shape anymore.

Woo Hoo!!
Congrats Bill! I was just wondering the other day if you had found a Blazer. That one looks mighty sharp. Get some more photo's posted so we can see the engine and dash and all that stuff. Wish I was home to work on mine, but right now I'm in Guam. In a couple of weeks I'll be in Singapore then on to the Gulf for 4 months. Funny, there's no 67-72 Chevy's here. hehe. Take care and I'll talk to you later. Jeff.
