Re: Your 60-66 bagged projects?

that's w/ the front end layed out, not z'd yet and no notch at all w/ axle laying against the frame, but has the front end laying w/ the crossmember on the ground, and here's what it looks like now, haven't done the upper triangulated 4 link yet so that's why its in the garage, and has a full notch. Still has headers laying on the ground and the full exhaust under the frame in the second pic.

No pics yet, I'm in college on other side of the state and last time I was home i forgot my camera so that was w/ my dad's crappy digital, so hopefully this weekend I'l get a side pic. I'm waitin on the notch pics since it's not totaly gussetted and looks like crap and doesn't even have the bag mounts in yet.

Re: Your 60-66 bagged projects?

Just so you know...
I have less then $1500 into this truck. I bought it for $600, fixed the broken starter switch and it fired right up. i have seen the front dropmember set up, and after looking at how it was made(unbeliveably awesome!!!!)I decided to make my own. I just cant justify spending more then $600 at a time on my truck , and the last purchase was drop spindles and disc brake conversion. If anyone wants to know how I am doing it on a buget, just ask, it is not that difficult, you just have to be very resourceful!

Thanks, I appreciate it. Im down just a little south of capitol and 87.
I am currently "between trucks" as i got rid of my '70 and started looking for, probably a '63 so i've been hanging around on here reading up on stuff. There seem to be a lot of 60-66 guys in SJ.
