Re: Sad story
Pugs, it wouldnt have done any good to try to sue her. We'd never have gotten anything.
Brad, I dealt with the insurance for Justin, so Ill answer your question. We have Allstate ins, we first filed under our uninsured motorist because the reporting officer said that the other driver didnt have ins. They got right on the ball and sent someone out and got an estimate with in about 4 days, they were ready to send a check when the officer called and said the the owner of the car (was the drivers bf) actually did have ins. They have Progressive, they too jumped right in and got the adjuster out hee and cut us a check with in about a week or so, it was very fair per my body guy.

Re: Sad story
something to remember, with the insurance questions, getting our trucks repaired should never be a problem with the insurance companies... it's when they total them out, that we have problems.

Re: Sad story
save all your reciepts and keep a log book of all improvements/repairs. pay yourself a fair shop rate for labor. once they saw I had over $8K in my truck they backed off and cut me a check.

That looks great! I didn't think the hood survived! It looks like it fits perfect.

Re: Sad story
Just ran across this one. That's one cool truck you guys picked up. I've seen pics of it in the past but I have a feeling it's gonna be looking a whole lot better after this small face lift. Glad to hear you're ok and that insurance was quick to deal with the situation. Any ideas on what the new color scheme is going to be?
