Great idea!!Count me in for the entire series. I've been looking for video's of this nature and there's not a lot out there. To have a set spesific to these trucks done by you would be"The icing on the cake" . The DVD format sounds like a good idea too, but I'll take it on any format....Stroker

Video
I'm in.... The hardest thing to repair on these old Chevy's and GMC's are the cab's and doors. And if you want to repair one you have to do it yourself because nobody out there in the body shop industry wants to touch them, they are time consuming and labor intensive. Anything that you could do to help us would be greatly appreciated. The box on the other hand isn't all that bad, with the exception of the floor you can literally buy every peice in a mail order catalog. My vote is for the cab! TJ

Well I think you have quite a few of us backing you up for this, and this is probably just one more annoying email to you telling that another person wants a set!! and I do, and i'm sure this will be one of the highest post counts because you have a lot of very useful knowledge that everyone wants. I say hey for all your trouble, it's justified for you to make a profit. I can't wait to see them!!

I would be game for some step by step vid! Also, if you do a gas filler vid, can can charge more, and include the patch to do it!

i'm in...for whaterver vids you come up with since i know nothing about body work. speaking of...how about a basics video for idiots type thing? you could record one piece and slap it on the the beginning of every specialty vid or have a full length basics video for people like me with ZERO knowledge. great idea however you do it.

What a great opportunity you are giving us!!, everyone will be jumping at this chance. My vote is for the zillionth time rocker panels, cab corners. Add to the price a little something for your time- NOBODY SHOULD THIS FOR FREE!!!
It appears almost everyone is willing to pay for your time, time is too valuable. So sign me up and look forward to hearing from you soon on this endeaver. THANK YOU!!! |

I'd be interested in these as well......
Use to be a welder, before being retired for disability reasons. WHAT about sending you some tapes to help with your costs? Still use a 110 wire feed, do odd jobs and trade that off for machine work from a friend of mine.....

Dood! I would, especially if you made it available on CD for the PC.
I am building up my work shop tools and that would be great for my shop computer. |

1) Rockers and related floorpan sheetmetal 2) Cab corners 3) Gas tank filler 4) The bad spot above the windsheild Plus 5) A fuel filler door on the bedside Maybe you could take a pole as to the subjects. And as far as money goes, I don't think that anybody here is going to begrudge you a fair profit, efabman. As has been said before me, your know-how warrants it. Jeff

Well... might as well count me in too.
I'd be happy to donate a few test trucks from my rusty collection... for educational purposes only. I'll even hold the spot light.

I'm in! Rockers, floor pans and trim holes. I think going the DVD route is best. That way, if there are any revisions, purchasers can download them from the web. AND MAKE A PROFIT!!!
