I've done both, they both have they're benefits. When we do the hotel thing, we stay at the Comfort Inn down off of exit 100. Nice place and the wife really appreciates the shower at the end of the day. Camping is great too, hangin' with the boys telling lies over the campfire is tough to beat. I'll post up that we have the need for an open seat, gotcha covered. |

Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
I'll wait to commit till it gets closer, new schedule at work has me working weekends...
Reminds me of the time the boys and I went Wheelin' in January...smoothest the trails ever were, packed with snow and ice

Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
Finally got something to post.
Jumped on welding up the holes in the tub that needed to go away, the lower moulding holes & the drivers side quarter that once upon a time held a CB radio antenna. Also fixed the drivers side 'a' pillar where the hinges are, the top was pulled out & the lower was pushed in & cracked. |

Re: Building a Blazer - vtblazer's Way
Nice work as usual...does the filter/regulator have a paper element in it or is it just a collector with a petcock. Either way, I'm sure you'll have dry air, nice addition to your compresser.
What's next on the todo list?

Yes, it's got a changeable/replaceable filter, it's a dual purpose unit, cleans both water & dirt from the air lines. Still not done with the body, have a couple good 'crinkles' to pull out along with more holes to fill. The rocker still isn't totally finished either, got tired of welding upside down...man that really sucks. Need to pick up some more flapper discs today too. ...but then it's pull out everything from under the dash, clean & prep the firewall & spray. Last edited by vtblazer; 03-15-2009 at 08:39 AM. |
