I went over and took a look at it and it feels like a well built little saw. The blades are similar to scroll saw blades so it's probably pretty easy to guide and maneuver.

Re: I'm one of you guys now

had to make a small patch for the inner corner, much easier than the passenger side..

this corner fought me harder than the other, maybe because I replaced more metal....I used 3 self-tapping drill point screws to bend it to my will. The corners needed quite a bit of tweaking, they were more rounded, where the stock cab had a much crisper square corner. I will need to work the joint with a hammer and dolly some before I skim coat it.

Travis, I know what you are thinking....but I assure you that is me and my son getting some gas tonight after we got the bed back on. I didn't get a good drivers side shot due to the dark...

Re: I'm one of you guys now

Thanks man!....it is certainly time consuming, but i think I will get faster at it the more I do...I got plenty to do on the '66, then John's bed patches whenever he is ready, and yours when you are ready....hell I could become experienced in no time

that reminds me, I gotta get my gas refilled to, I think I will need a bigger bottle soon

right on!

I need to start ordering some pieces. As I was under the truck tonight I noticed that pretty much all of the cab supports are rotted.

Yeah you will need some of the anti-squeak pads too. When I took them off they just fell apart. Never got around to ordering new ones.
