Also, if you stay with the computer, I would reccomend having a custom chip burned getting rid of VATS, and all the emission stuff, unless you want to keep it for some reason......also will need to look at what you need to do for the speedo....electric or cable type....

I bought my harness and my computer from the guy on Chevythunder.com. He just asked for info about your engine/tranny combo other stuff. It has all worked out good for me. He sells them on ebay under the username chevy_tpi.

Just some questions and a update.
Got the crossmember for the transmission, I found it on ebay for $65. Found a tail housing for the 700r4 that will mount to the crossmember, another ebay find. Hopefully we can start putting in the motor soon but first I have a question. I want to put in new brake lines before I put the motor and transmission in, I have new disc brakes on the front and have rebuilt the drum brakes and plan on converting them to disc at a later date. My question is what size line do I use? Also what size of fuel line should I use? I was thinking of bending them myself but not sure if I should. Please help I am kinda at a stand still.

I used 1/8 brake line..I bought a roll of line and fittings from INLINETUBE.com.....My local Advance auto had pre-made sticks of brake line with the fittings also.....

I used Earls fittings for my fuel line, and a 3/8 High-pressure fuel hose instead of bent metal lines.....either way works just fine......

I bought the fuel line stuff at my local racing supply store....
I know Summit and Jegs carry's the stuff.....
