Perfect condition Factory Chevrolet tailgate (Like NOS)
FINAL OFFER BEFORE EBAY------- 600 SHIPPED! 550 Delivered within my business travels or 500 Picked up!
I just found this gate. According to the guy I bought it from it has been in storage for almost 17 years. When he first bought the truck it was new separate from the truck and he primered it. It has the number 43 stamped in the lower inside RH corner. It has the holes drilled for the upper and lower trim. I have a pair of rods and the latches I will include with this. I don't have a handle. There isn't a dent on the gate at all. It is absolute mint condition. I will ship the gate at buyer's expense. I will box it in the box my repop came in and add additional padding. Here's a link to the post where I first discussed this. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...37#post3129337 Please reply on here only...no PM's until you say I will take it. I am busy with work and family so it might take a few days to get a shipping quote. I will deliver the gate in VA or WV or close surrounding areas for a small fee. It can be picked up at 23112 zip code. These are the only pictures I have...my camera is leant to my sister in law so I won't be able to take more but I guarantee this is in mint condition. I do have the full size images you can zoom if you give me your email I will send them. I am asking 600 FIRM plus shipping LOWERED TO 625 Shipped/ 550 Picked up and any paypal fees. If you have looked at these recently you know this is a fair price. If after a couple of weeks it hasn't sold here it will go to ebay. Thanks for looking!

Re: Factory Chevrolet Take off tailgate
Still available for sale....this is basically a NOS gate that was bought in 92 and had the trim holes drilled and then was primered.

Re: Factory Chevrolet Take off tailgate
Interested in a trade? I have a high quality gate w/a Mar-K 'shaved' panel on the outside. It has the handle relocated to the inside w/an ElCamino latch (not flat).
Gate is still bare w/no body work done & the skin was professionally attached (not hacked; seams were split & then butt welded). It has no exterior holes & nothing hiding any damage if you would be interested in pics. I'm using trim on mine & decided I would prefer the tailgate handle 'recess' of a factory gate for my RetroRod project. LMK.... Scot.

Re: Factory Chevrolet Take off tailgate
I see.
I'm interested but will need to figure the cost of shipping as it could simply be too much to make the deal worth while. From Tri-Po Auto's indication, these weigh approx 55#. If that's close enough, I'll need outside box dimensions for a shipping quote (I've never seen how much bigger the shipping boxes are for after market gates).

Re: Factory Chevrolet Take off tailgate
Shipping isn't too bad. Hart_Rod shipped me a gate from NM to SC for $50 via FedEx (I think) and I had two front fenders shipped together from California to SC via Greyhound for $70. The seller put that 1" foam insulation board around them and they arrived shipping damage free.

Re: Factory Chevrolet Take off tailgate
I definitely prefer cash, but would trade for high performance engine parts, engine dress up items, new air ride suspension parts/systems, ECE/CPP suspension components, new low hump black carpet, etc. Would consider a partial trade plus cash.
