Re: Help with rear end. Gears?
Hey fellas, I'm new here and I didn't know my reg. app. was approved untill I just took the chance to post here but I'll be taking care of that later on today.
I've got a 67' lwb that had a 250 I6, 3 on the tree. My brother in-law has a 6 speed from a camero he is giving me that I want to install with a double disk clutch and hydraulic tob. Now the engine I'm installing is a .060 over forged & balanced 350 with a .470 lift cam and Pete Jackson gear drive. My question is, if the rear end is a 3.73 (I haven't checked yet) how will that combo work out? My other option is a 400 turbo that I haven't had in a car for over 10 yrs. now so it needs rebuilt and I will have to buy a stall converter too. Thanks Guys, great site. |
