bump.

Anyone else? I think were up to 26 or 27... That close! Sorry I've been gone a few days. Getting ready to take the Suburban into the sand dunes at Silver Lake State Park (Michigan) in a few days. I'll air the tires down to 8 lbs. and see what happens! I did get to pull a Ford out of the sand at the Holland State Park this past weekend--backwards even (I used my tow hooks). Wish l had my camera with me!

Yo boataddict26! The pods we're referring to mount on the driver's side A-pillar and allow you to mount gauges in them, you've probably seen this in numerous ricers and its very popular in F*&$ Super Duty's especially the diesels. Go back to the first post on page one of this thread for the details. Thus far no company makes these for our model year Chevy's, which is just plain ol' discrimination IMHO
Post here again if you are definitely interested in preordering!

I saw 40-60 per pod. Is that per pod? Like the 2 pod set up, would that be 80-120? I think I want one, could someone clear this up for me? Thanks

Hello all, again! The price for the pods will run between $40-$60 for a 2 or 3 gauge pod. It looks like we'll be going with the 2 gauge pod due to popular demand throughout this thread. I believe they come in black but can very simply be painted to match whatever color you want, and there should be enough colors out there to satisfy pretty much everyone. These pods fit 2 1/16" gauges, look in a Summit catalog or what have you for a large selection of mechanical and electrical gauges.
Any more questions or to throw your name in on the preorder just post in this thread!
Happy 4th of July!

**By the price for pods I mean the complete pod, which would either be one that has two holes, or on that has three holes--but the two gauge pod seems to be wanted by the majority**

Put me on the list!! I guess the 2 pod black is it, and that will be fine.

EVERYONE: Please go to the website www.gaugepods.com to see the product and review the way the preorder will work. I'll have to send my A-pillar in and that will be used as the "sacrificial lamb" to craft our pods. All the money will have to come to me and then be sent onward to the manufacturer. So if someone backs out once the preorder has begun, I'll get screwed and have to make up the difference.
REMEMBER: WE NEED ONE MORE PERSON TO SIGN UP TO GET THE BALL ROLLING! No, I'm not yelling--just trying to get across the imporant info!

Cole's 87:
I am positive in the official e-mail they sent to me upon my initial inquiry that they stated we needed 30 preorders. I don't have that e-mail saved on my home computer but at work. I'll check it first thing in the morning and post a reply here. I will also need to get ahold of them regardless to continue along in the process. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. If, in fact, I am wrong, I'll let everyone here know since this has been holding us up!

Alan

YAHOO! I believe we've made 30 and yes, I checked, we need 30 total to get the ball rolling. I just checked my pm's. ROCKHQ--we'll take care of it and thanks for being VERY patient! He sent me a pm back in May and I've never checked them. Wasn't snubbing you.
I need to double check the totals tonight and e-mail the company, but put your money aside--we'll know soon. Type at ya'll soon!
