Re: New guy From Oregon
Nothing wrong with a long bed. Makes for a good lookin truck in my humble opinion and the long beds do ride soooooooooo much better. Damn fine score!

Re: New guy From Oregon
love it. I also love the fact that we don't have to have trucks with 10k paint jobs to be cool! The neatest ones imo are the rusty and/or rattle-canned trucks

Holy Crap! I must be blind. All these ol trucks in Hillsboro. Looks deadly ol skool. Shoot me a PM and we can meet up. I'd love to see the truck.

Re: New guy From Oregon
That is sharp just the way it is. Please don't shorten that truck. It probably rides nicer as a longbed anyway. Heck, you can almost fit your plane into it as it is!
I like the color as well. Almost like the original Cardinal Red. The patina looks right. Nice job. |

Re: New guy From Oregon
You gonna run that dual quad!!!! Get a fuel pressure regulator. I ran a similar set up on my 56 15 years ago. Biggest challenge was fuel pressure and float levels. I ran the carbs progressively. Back one was my primary and front one kicked in at half throttle. They run good if you set them up well. Nice looking mill though!!!
