SPACEDEBRIS do you have a build thread on your cummins conversion? I would like more information on this.

Re: Let's post 60-66 SUBURBAN Only Pictures
There are dual gas tanks under the rockers, one on each side, they fill from inside behind the front seat, they definitely need to go. Pretty much rust free, just some rust in the front fenders.
Looks like she pulled a camper, has equalizer hitch in back, had fishing rod holders all over the ceiling. She was used hard, the head was cracked, installed a re conditioned head and now it blows oil past the rings. I have a good running 292 ready to install. |

Dude, I totally agree! I'm figuring a 2-3" lift on mine with some 35s. The body will be a darker/brighter blue with the white top.

63burban, great looking truck! How long have you had it? It's a 4x4? I couldn't quite tell looking at your pics.

Re: Let's post 60-66 SUBURBAN Only Pictures
Mike S
The Burb is definitely a 4x4, sits pretty high. I bought it 4 years ago off Craigslist, it was in Redding CA. Can't believe everyone here missed it, it was $1000, the woman that had it claimed she had a few call but no one came to look at it. I bought it over the phone and had it shipped to WI. Out of the 6 trucks I have it is one of the cleaner ones as far as rust. The Suburban has dents everywhere but solid as a rock, I do need one tailgate support though. |

Re: Let's post 60-66 SUBURBAN Only Pictures
Some updated pictures for those interested on my 61 Carryall. Still not done(are they ever). Started 1500ing the clear and need to do headliners. Scrambled to get it drivable by the 4th of July and i made it to my first show. I ended up with 1st place in 4x4 class even though its still under construction...what a thrill after all the work. Best part of the day was my father presenting me with the trophy. After i get it buffed I'll post more pictures with it sitting in the sun. That makes the orange really pop.

Re: Let's post 60-66 SUBURBAN Only Pictures
I have 8 stud axles under mine and it is not that easy to find a clean simple wheel in a 16" 8 stud

Re: Let's post 60-66 SUBURBAN Only Pictures
Take a look at Eagle then...not sure if it will fit yours but they offer a 16 x 10 with 8 on 6.5 that matches my rim.
