Attention All Air Baggers..
Have any of you guys used a setup like this? THis has to be the simplest setup yet for 4 corner controls.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT Im starting to piece together a system and came across this. Let me know your opinions.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
Nothing special, just manual paddle valves. Have been around forever. It is a much cheaper setup, and easy to setup, but you have to run alot more lines than an electronic switch/valve setup, although no wiring is required. (Except of course for the compressor and the lights on the gauges)
The 1/4 inch line is small, and it will be slow, no matter what the guy says, especially feeding two bags off of one 1/4 inch feed line. But it will do it's job just fine.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
I had 1/4 lines on the front of my 65 and it was slower, but I didnt mind too much. I dont need a fast fill or dump.
The guy selling this call it the "old man" setup.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
Exactly.... old school paddle switches. They work and are decently reliable. They are slower so dont ever expect to make them speedy by any means. Plan on replacing the paddle switches themselves after a few years depending on how much they are used. They essentially use a teflon guide that seals the switch and as time goes on that surface will get light scratches from debris and will start leaking very slowley... but hell, easy to install and they definitely work. We can even set up a panel like that where there is four switches under 2 dual needle gause on the same panel that measure about 4.5" X 4.5".

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
Ok. With this one you are showing here, does one padel work front and one for rear? Thats would I would rather have, but want one line to each bag instead of two bags tied together with a tee. I had that on my 65 and the air transfer from side to side gave me too much body roll.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
you will need four corner adjustment in order for the truck to sit level and have no transfer you will need two of these panels one for the fron one for the rear you will have two gauges and four padel switches

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
I just bagged my 61 using the same set up and it works great. The ebay add your looking at is from Boris (way2lo2) on this site. Really cool dude and has bagged every 58-64 Impala, Biscayne and wagon within a 1000 miles of Cleveland Ohio!! He also can give you a hookup on the compressor, tank and pressure switch to go with it.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
Yea thats the guy. I have a complete air system onboard now running air horns. So the bag and control install will be simple.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
So this may be a newb question, but the e-bay panel looks like the dumps are T'd (unless these are the lines in from tank, but if that's the case then where's the dump), then there's individual fills for each bag, but where's the fitting to go to the valves from the tank. Something tells me the answer is gonna make me feel dumb.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
The way i done my set up was run the line from the tank to under the dash to a tee fitting. From the tee fitting i ran a couple inch long air line to my pressure switch and another line to yet another tee fitting and the remaining two lines to the two bottom feed lines on the back of the paddles. The upper four fittings on the paddles will supply each of your four air bags. If your pressure switch is on the tank you will only use one tee.

Not that I've seen. There is definitely industrial stuff that does, but nothing small, cheap, and simple like that.

Re: Attention All Air Baggers..
If any forum members are interested in these panels, I can offer a better price then what I have them listed for on ebay. I have single path panels, dual path panels, 4 path panels. I also carry the individual paddle valve in case you want to use your own gauges. These can be tee'd to work with the senders needed for Digital gauges as well. We typically do 1-3 Air suspension installs a week , though the Ridetech E3 and Airlift Autopilot is popular with alot of our customers, the Paddle arrangement is what at least 80-90% end up going with. We quit using individual solenoid valves 10 years ago, the good ones worked fine but install time to make everything clean and neat took longer then most people were wiling to pay for plus the added cost of all the fittings needed to plumb 8 valves. If your looking for a dependable air management that won't break the bank you can't go wrong with this paddle arrangement.
