Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks

Got the brakes all mounted up, made a little cubbyhole, A. So that the master cylinders were on the outside of the firewall and B. I made it tall so that you could fit a bottle of brake fluid inside when its time to fill them. Made it out of diamond plate so it kinda matched the rest of the firewall...

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks

No build thread just a 92 Chevy on Rockwells and a Big Block with 44's, nothing like the SWEET BURB !! It is funny how 44's are small these days and a built 477 still aint big enough!!!!

Haha aint that the damn truth! Im so used to the size of my 54's which is bad cause a 44" tall tire is friggen huge.

Started making some dually fenders. Should be pretty sweet to see a fender well that covers 40" of tire haha

Sweet build, love seeing it come together.

Not sure if this has been asked yet......but, how are you going to get it out of the garage?

Legit question, i get asked it about every day from the UPS/USPS/ FedEx or Neighbor or my wife haha. Basically i will hopefully get around to mounting the shocks and links on here in the next week or so then i will basically lift the body off the chassis and roll the frame out into the driveway then drop the body down and roll that out of the garage. I also have 235/75 r16 transport tires to lower it a bit haha. Ill make sure to take some pics of when i do it cause everyone wants to know how!!!

Thanks buddy, the motor just got done and dynoed. 1372 hp and 1168 lbft of tq. With alcohol and a 15% overdrive pulley lots of timing and like 12 or 13 lbs of boost. I wont run near those kind of numbers though, I have a 10% overdrive about 7 lbs of boost and reduced timing to reduce detonation. Still over 1000 hp just not friggen almost 1400! lol

Re: 540 BBC 68 Burb Dually 54" Boggers on Rocks

So along with stretching the fenders by 14" to contour the 54" boggers i also boxed the fenders so that mud and other debris wont get in them. Also will make cleanup a breeze! Let me know what you think!
