Re: First Old Truck
Here are the pictures of what I picked up today, needless to say I love swap meets!
First I picked up 5 used 235-70-15 tires that should fill out the wheel wells nicely I wanted some tri-five dog dish caps for the wheels and started to piece together a set but then I found these and couldn't resist, they are a little rough but I can clean them up. and finally the thing I'm most excited about, I can't believe I got these for $25 to bad they don't fit my model a :wash: |

Re: First Old Truck
I'm planning on painting my wheels when I mount the new tires on them, but I'm not sure what color I want yet. I'm thinking a want a dark color maybe like a maroon of navy blue.
What do you guys think? I could use some good ideas. |

Re: First Old Truck
The tires I have are raised white letter on one side so I think I'll take them to a tire shop and have them grind the tires down into white walls

Had some guys on another forum photoshop some pics for me, and I decided I love this color combo so tomorrow I'm blasting my wheels and painting them orange.

Re: First Old Truck
Nice truck. I think the orange wheels look killer. If you keep the patina just be be ready to hear "so what color ya' gonna paint it?". You may occasionally get someone suggesting you leave it as is, too

Re: First Old Truck
