In my opinion they look good. Although your truck already looks great.

Re: Vintage Accessories

My dad had those screens on his 77 truck. He went thru an road stop inspection and they made him remove them on the spot. Not sure what the big deal is. They were so rusty they had no shine left to scatter the light beam.

Re: Vintage Accessories

I don’t know how authentic they are to any other ‘69 c10, but when mine went from my great grandpa to my Dad’s construction fleet, my dad removed my great grandma’s vanity mirror and gave it to me as a Christmas present this last year!!! Along side that he had a key pouch from a dealership in my old hometown. A little saddle soap and it cleaned up nicely. 😎

Nice. I love those folded leather key fobs. I think I remember them shaped like cars, too.

Nice interior pieces. I always mounted both in my trucks. Flashlight bottom center of dash and extinguisher on the passenger kick panel

From the USPS website, "Propane is a Division 2.1 flammable gas and is acceptable in domestic mail via surface transportation only if it can qualify as a Limited Quantity ground material." Wild, huh? It is, however, unlawful to refill the little tanks and transport them. I use them all the time for soldering copper pipe, like VWNate1 says. Also on copper projects, as I haven't mastered welding copper.

Re: Vintage Accessories

This is such a cool thread! A couple of things that I have added - Cobra 29LTD CB radio (not GM brand but I had it laying around), 1970 Nebraska inspection sticker, late 60's road maps in the glove box, Hamm's church key and a license plate frame from the dealer where my truck was sold new. Excuse the Sinclair dinosaur, I saw it for sale at the local Sinclair and couldn't resist

Re: Vintage Accessories

A couple years ago I picked up a Suburban taillight complete with the socket and housing. I set it in the box of spare taillights until this morning when I needed an 1157 bulb for the Burban. After checking my stash of light bulbs and coming back empty handed. (The stash only had a pair of 1154's which after checking I found out are 6 volt. Well at least I didn't find that out the hard way. )

So I turned to the box of spare taillights hoping to find the correct bulb in an old taillight. Sure enough I got luck but in an unusual way.

The bulb in the Burban taillight was this old school bulb with leads to hook up extra taillights or possibly trailer lights. First time I've come across a bulb like this.

It's not as cool as many of the items in this thread but, it's nice bump to the top for the thread.

Post Bernz O Matic Stove

The bottle proper was replaceable and are still available, I use one in my Mechanical work with a simple flame jet on it .

Plumbers use these bottles / torches too to sweat solder copper pipes .

I tried a new bernzomatic tank it’s slightly to fat to fit . Not the short fat cylinder this one .

Re: Vintage Accessories

Cleaning out the Avanti truck to get some new shocks that I bought for it to put on the Lark found this . It’s an early unused Bernzomatic brand fix a flat and the propellant is DuPont Freon guessing it’s r12 .
