Meaning the bottom of the coil over shock? Or the crossmember?

Lowest point is on the bottom of the A-arm. This is the closest point to the ground.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Been thinking about my build and kinda worried about the front spring rate and ride height . I have a all aluminum ls6 and t56. What is the spring rate set up for that comes with the kit ? Sbc with iron heads? I know on my 68 when I went from an iron block ls to a aluminum block the front suspension came up a little . I didn't measure the rise but I fore sure noticed it.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
I got the kit installed for my 66 and the frame powdercoated. Still a long ways to go before I set the cab and bed back on but I am very happy with the quality of the parts.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Looks great! Being a GMC was your truck a Trailing arm truck from factory or a leaf sprung truck?

Still need to tighten all the bolts and order front spindles and sway bars.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
It was factory leaf springs, I called and talked to Josh when I was installing it. I only had 1 hole to line up the notch template. I got it figured out though.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Good, We need to get a GMC in here to do an updated template. We have several customers with leaf sprung trucks converted over, but just haven't had one here to check the reference holes.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Plan to order tires for my build that has this ridetech kit. I'm have 18x9.5 in the front with 5.5 backspace. I'd like to run a 295-40-18 front and rear. What do you guys think ? I have stock inner fenders also.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Can the factory front sway bar be used with this kit, or do you have to buy the MuscleBar?
